Privacy Policy

This policy explains what kys (kys) stores about you, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we keep what's needed to run your page, and we don't sell it or use advertising trackers.

What we store

Account: your username, aliases, a hashed version of your password (never the password itself), when you joined, and which referral code you used.
Your page: everything you enter in the dashboard, plus the files you upload (avatar, background, song).
Views: a total view count, and per-day counts split into desktop, mobile and tablet. We don't keep a record of who visited.
Badges you've been given.
Referral code requests: if you ask for a code on the TEAM page, the name, contact details and message you enter, and the answer. Admins can delete a request at any time.

What we don't store

We don't ask for your email, name or phone number. Visitors' IP addresses are only held briefly in memory, to stop one person from counting as many views and to slow down password guessing, and are never written to the database.

Cookies and storage

One cookie keeps you logged in. It's only for that, and it expires after 30 days or when you log out.
Your browser remembers a few settings on its own, such as whether you've seen the intro, your PREFS choices (scanlines, music, sound effects) and where the site music was. That never leaves your device.
Everything, fonts included, is served from this site. There are no analytics or advertising scripts, and nothing is loaded from other companies.

Who can see what

Everything on your page is public. Your view counts and charts are only shown to you. Admins can see account details (username, join date, views, referral code and badges) so they can run the site.

Deleting your data

Deleting your account in Dashboard → Settings removes your account, page, uploads, aliases, badges and view counts straight away. Removing an upload deletes the file.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
